Edito de BackwatersDead Times make dark, surreal, aurally unsettling, Lynchian art-punk that paints nightmarish wet-dreams vivid enough to make Frank Booth blush. They have released a small collection of freely downloadable, disturbingly beautiful works over the past couple of years that accurately reflect the immense depth of their art (see 2008's Midnight Glass).
The Black Pine Circle EP, the groups first effort with Briefcase Rockers / Matte Black Editions, plays like the soundtrack to a lost David Lynch short about teenage angst in a post apocolyptic wasteland where kids snort crushed quaaludes off Pretty Hate Machine vinyl. Yeah... this won't disappoint.
