Edito de A Lover's TouchAlthough I'm an actor by profession, my first love was playing piano. I've composed music over the years and finally laid down the tracks about a year ago. I compose chiefly for friends and loved ones and put my album together in time (finally!) for my dear Mom, Rosina, to hear it before she passed. That's her photo on the cover when whe was 85! She loved it, as did so many of my friends and fellow actors to whom I made an opening night gift of it. One of these, Debbie Boily, a wonderful chanteuse with whom I performed (check out her CD, especially if you love the sound of Piaf) suggested I get it "out there" as she thought it was very special stuff. She actually bought two of my CD's (my first sale!) for her friends as Xmas presents and turned me on to CDBaby, so I'm giving it a shot.
Karen Akers, another fabulous chanteuse, is a good friend of mine; after one of her concerts at the Algonquin Hotel in New York, I met the composer/concert pianist Leopold Godolfsky. He had just purchased a Hamburg Steinway Concert Grand from somewhere in Italy and had it shipped over and hoisted into his Fifth Avenue penthouse/recording studio. He invited me to be his first "outside" recording artist and so I got to record my music on his marvelous piano. I was primarily doing it for myself, my family, and friends. But now, I'm extending it you YOU and would love your feedback. It's not "perfect," but I love listening to it and think you will, too. Check it out!!!
