Edito de Wisdom TreeThe debut CD featuring vocalist, Carol Fuller, is a wounderful journey through contemporary Jazz genres. Moving from lights out jazz to Bossa Novas and burning hot Sambas she twists melodies in the style of Joni Mitchell. Her lyrics are up close and personal, speaking of discovering life and friends, having travelled around the world singing jazz, she writes of the people she has met, the friends she has made, and the wounderful journey, that path has taken her on. She is backed up by an all star band of Musicians, Steve Kujala (Chick Corea) Michael Shapiro (Segio Mendes) James East (Lionel Richie) Tripp Sprague, John Opferkuch, Kevin Hennessey, Peter Sprague (David Benoit)and a guest spot from Scott Henderson (Tribal Tech and Chick Corea). The songs were written with her husband and guitarist, Jay Myerson, who is also featured on this CD. She currently teaches Jazz voice at The Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena and performs with her jazz band in the San Diego area. Lire la suite
