Edito de Walk for a WhileUSDM, often referred to as Uncle Sam's Dream Machine, is the culmination of grass roots style rock 'n roll and blues in their new evolution of melodic song writing. The band's unique three part vocal harmonies, ripping guitars and the dynamic movement of the rhythm section, make USDM stand out from other bands. These musicians have placed their roots in the Columbus music scene over the past few years. They have developed a strong regional following in Ohio and surrounding states. USDM is known for their live performances that leave their fans smiling and dancing for days. Barn Jam '01 pushed USDM to another level of performance excellence. Two nights of camping and a full day of music brought USDM fans from as far as Oregon to Washington D.C. Plans for Barn Jam '02 are brewing in the USDM production office. Other USDM highlights in 2001 include playing at Spring Jam Music Festival and The 15th Annual Jerry Garcia Bash. 2001 marked USDM's third summer performing on Levi's First Stages at amphitheaters in the Midwest. Fans followed USDM to Phil Lesh/String Cheese Incident, Tom Petty/Jackson Brown, Rat Dog/Rusted Root and BB King/Buddy Guy Levi's First Stage performances in 2001. In 2000 USDM traveled the east coast performing on Levi's First Stages during a week tour with Bob Dylan and Phil Lesh. USDM has shared the stage with other remarkable acts: Dark Star Orchestra, North Mississippi Allstars, Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band, Ekoostik Hookah, the David Nelson Band and Strangefolk.
