I remembered how much I used to enjoy picking up and strumming one of my ukeleles or my tenor guitar just for fun, and I realized that a lot of joy had been lost from the kind of music I have always liked, even as a child. Mark's brother, Jeff Josephs, had developed a special tuning called tiki-tuned guitar. That, along with Don Haynie's wonderful acoulstic bass and Stuart Paul on toy piano and keyboard, helped to create the Tolly Town Orchestra's sound.
