Edito de The NymphaeumAlbum Description: The Nymphaeum part I thru part V is a symphonic instrumental of dark acoustic guitar, piano and cello accompanied by the whispers, oohs and ahhs of two beautiful sirens- Reenie Varga and Erin Shawn Hawkins. The vocal track 1, "Radical Seed" is a moody alternative song with spooky acoustic guitar and spacey background strings. Along with the spellbinding tale "Tears of Joy", both written by Reenie, they express the inner emotions and turmoil of love relationships, comparing them to the changing of seasons and the hope for rebirth. They are placed as bookends on the album and compliment and reinforce the gentle beauty of the instrumental tracks. In the middle of the album is 'what a beautiful sunset!' an absolute gem of a song with a great piano solo played over a smooth jazz groove. This song is a real turn-around, written by producer Gary Strausbaugh and produced by the band! Totally infectious! Haunting and unforgettable, the Nymphaeum will uplift your spirit, soothe your soul and transcend you to the secret haven of the nymphs. A radio mix of "Radical Seed" and "What a beautiful Sunset!" Follow a 10-minute intermission. This way, the 8 song album can be used for relaxation, and the two radio mixes are bonus tracks. Artist Bios: Reenie Varga is an aspiring singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles as well as an accomplished painter and actress and is the main vocal force behind Angelwing. She frequently perform in the LA area with the Reenie Varga Trio. Reenie has appeared in films and has lent her voice and likeness to some very successful video games as well. Reenie attended the Tyler school of Art at Temple University and her oil painting 'the Nymph' graces the back cover of the Angelwing CD. Erin Erin Shawn Hawkins is a classically trained singer who got her start at the age of four. She took up the Cello at the ripe age of nine and has been playing ever since. She won the Utah state competition with her high school three years running and is a graduate of the University of Utah majoring in Fine Arts. Erin is currently working on her own solo album project due out in early 2002. Rick Costello formerly of the progressive rock band Lost European, is the guitarist/songwriter of Angelwing. He has also created and released 2 other CDs- 'The Lemming Shepherds', a children's CD-ROM storybook that promotes individual thinking and the compilation disc, 'The Job Shopper Album' an eclectic mix of standard and original songs for the Contract Engineer on the road. Three of Rick's original songs were used in the feature movie 'Jimi', a biography of Jimi Hendrix, and Rick also had a cameo appearance in the film.
