Edito de The Art of Henry NeighausA great Russian pianist and pedagogue Henry Neighaus, the pupil of godovsky and the teacher of Sviatoslav Richter and Emil Gilels, plays piano concertos by Chopin (no. 1 in E minor) and Scriabin. The recordings were made in 1946 (Scriabin) and 1951 (Chopin)with the USSR State Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by famous Russian conductors Alexander Gauk and Nikolai Golovanov. The old recordings are presented with a new tactful yet efficient restoration. The CD is the first of the series "The art of Henry Neighaus" produced by Classical Records (www.classicalrecords.ru).
