I?ve been doing this since 2001, but none of the records except Scars are available at this time (unless you know me). The earlier stuff was more upbeat and had the full-band sound. I don?t know if it?s a phase or what, but I haven?t been using drums or bass in any of the stuff I?ve been doing lately, so the songs on Scars are really mellow and stripped-down. There are three (arguably four) records that came before this one, but the recording was pretty low-quality, and with Scars I actually set out to make something that was studio-quality. The recording and a little bit of additional rendering is done with AcidPro, and I use SoundForge and CD Architect for mastering. Almost everything is captured acoustically with two Shure microphones, and most of the reverb is generated from an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail reverb pedal. Enjoy.
