I moved from Saint John, New Brunswick (my hometown) in 1994 to Montreal to pursue my already active music career further.
While in NB I had been in several cover bands, wedding bands and played at private parties and was active in studio doing leads and back-up vocals.
When I moved to Montreal I had a gig lined up within 2 months, even before having my band together. In December 1994 we played at a benefit concert (as Racine a tribute to Sass Jordan) for the homless children in Montreal put on by the Sun Youth Program which was very well received and discussed the following day on 97.7 CHOM-FM.
From January 95 to February 96 with the same line up as the band Racine we formed Aerial cover band performing all over Montreal and surrounding areas, with excellent responses from the audiences.
My main focus and interests has always been to record and release original music either co-written by myself or other fabulous songwriters. In 1996 I recorded my first demo of original music, in 2004 completed my second demo cd of original music in which I submitted to companies and received my distribution deal with Universal/Dep licensed by Attack Records. That demo was showcased on 90.3FM McGill University here in Montreal in March 2005.
Since recording songs by Canada s own Aldo Nova and Robert John Mutt Lange in 2005, produced by Multi-Platinum producer Mark Berry, I have been getting an excellent response. My first single Close your Eyes is getting rave reviews, I am in the top 15 in only 1 short week on CFAI-FM Rock 105 Edmunston with rock DJ Alexandre Hebert who is planning a cd giveaway on his show soon. I received my first licensing deal with EMI/Asia, promotion with MTV programming, and am getting regular airplay in Gatesville Texas on Renegade Radio, Also aggressive DMDS submissions are happening through Attack Records with an overwhelming response.
Being a proud Canadian I feel I have what it takes to represent Canada along with the other top female artists out there.
