Edito de Old CountrySinger, Songwriter, Wayne Bailey
I was born in Montpelier Vermont 2/12/56. All my life I have lived within a 6 mile radius
Growing up on a farm, country music has always been a big part of my life.
After high school I went to work at a local Granite manufacturing plant, learning the ins and outs of producing products made of granite. After 15 years of doing that, I took a job working as a salesman for Miles Supply Co. Still working there today. I travel around North America teaching people how to use the products we sell , to produce stone products.
As a hobbie I started writing lyrics and putting them to music. All my friends and family really liked the songs, so I decided to enter into a contest known as the Collgate Country Showdown, In our area I was selected as one of the top 10 and preformed live on stage, I did not win that contest however the experience was well worth the effort. Our local FM station Froggy 100.9 Played parts of one of my songs many times advertising for the event. What a thrill.
Next I started a band named W. Bailey & Company, I was preforming at a show in Northfield, Vermont Labor Day 2005 when one of the spectators representing Veterans Family and Friends at West Hill Sound recording studio offered to introduce me to the owner Chuck Hay. They offered to record my music as a benefit fund raiser supporting Veterans through the Michael Cochran Humanitarian Award. I accepted their offer and here I am today. Each CD sold will generate funding for Veterans through this program
