Edito de Grupo FuegoGrupo Fuego (which means "The Fire Group") was formed in the fall of 1999. We are very lucky to have a group of musicians that have remained constant over the years and have given a unique flavor to the band. Our musicians have been part of different Latin bands for the past ten years and have a rich repertoire of Latin grooves. This band was created with the purpose of taking the Latin music in Ohio to the next level. We have come a long way since we started and we have grown in popularity of our music. Our music covers a wide range of ages and ethnic groups due to the energy that it reflects through rhythm and dance. This past five years, have been full of many happy memories and learning experiences. We have seen our band and music grown in popularity and we feel proud of our accomplishments through musical expression. We feel that is the right time to go into the next phase and put Cleveland on the map as a Latin Music force internationally. Our first musical production, self-titled "Grupo Fuego" combines a variety of Caribbean rhythms which project the energy of our original compositions. In search of the correct sound, this musical project was recorded at Jampr Studios in Puerto Rico and produced by the three time Grammy winner, Freddie Mendez, who raised our music to a new level by implementing his musical knowledge and experience without losing the essence of what Grupo Fuego is.
