Edito de Ghost of a GirlJude Kastle
Jude Kastle's music career began in her father's church in Georgia. Two weeks out of high school Jude moved to New York City on her own to attend the American Music and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Soon after arriving, Jude was recruited by a reggae band singing backup and playing percussion. This band was the catalyst that put a guitar in her hands. Jude started working out her own songs as soon as the first 3 chords were learned and in a matter of a year she played her first show at the legendary café Sine. She found her home there in the East Village and continued playing shows, finding her footing on stage. Since then, Jude has released two records on her own Kastle Records ("Ghost of a Girl" and "Junkie for Fire") and is currently touring the US, relentlessly working the college market. In 2004 Jude was asked to open for Grammy winner Phil Vassar in Virginia and won a Flagstaff Music Award for the music she wrote for a PSA.
