Edito de East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon"East Of Sun, West Of The Moon" is the epic, double album from Seattle supergroup Tuatara. Released in the summer of 2007, the band features Peter Buck from REM, Barrett Martin from Screaming Trees, and a cast of renowned singer-songwriters, each of whom contributes one of more songs to the album. The sessions were recorded at Stone Gossard's Studio Litho in Seattle, WA, with Tuatara as the backing band, and a revolving cast of lyrical characters written by each singer. Roughly following the themes of a classic American Western movie, the male singer/characters included: Mark Olson and Gary Louris of the Jayhawks, John Wesley Harding, Dean Wareham of Luna, Mark Eitzel of American Music Club, Scott McCaughey of the Minus 5, and the renowned Sufi Poet, Coleman Barks. The cast of female singers included: Victoria Williams, Jessy Greene, Adama, and Gina Sala.
