Edito de Cynical WorldPepper Porter Band/Cynical World
Pepper Porter's guitar playing has been described as "explosive", "delivering deadly riffs", and "emotionally inspired".
Porter has joined with his songwriting partner, Steve Teasley to deliver "Cynical World", an edgy hard-rockin`, hook filled album. It consists of 8 new songs, and
revamped versions of "Take A Ride", and "Cynical World".
Steve Teasley sings lead vocals, plays rhythm guitar, bass,
and keys on the album.
Combining forces with Porter and Teasley, is Seattle drummer/vocalist, John Micera who lays down a solid groove with tasty fills and percussion in each of the selections, as well as lead vocals on I Love You, the last track.
Cynical World is the follow up to the First American Records (FA7756) release, "Invasion" by the Pepper Porter Band.
Invasion, an album with a limited release has shown up worldwide in many record collectors clutches as one to savor!
Neal Skok, noted author on Northwest Rock and Roll, and
avid record collector from Redmond, Washington writes, "Collectors have been paying large amounts for the piece, and The Pepper Porter Band is becoming one of the Northwests' legendary musician forces."
A recent copy of "Invasion" received a winning bid of $102.50 on Ebay! (Item # 4069095294 Jan 20,2005)
The song, "Take a Ride" is a featured cut on a German
compilation album titled, "The Real Munich City Nights Volume 1", available on Trendfabrik.com.
A little piece of trivia: Pepper Porter had a band named
Volcano. The lead singer was Geoff Tate before he formed
Queensryche.
With the release of "Cynical World", The Pepper Porter Band hopes that you`ll make their album a part of your musical collection!
Give it a listen!
